Coffee Hour Hostesses
Job Description: Set up and make coffee (which only entails emptying
packet), hot chocolate and put out snacks before service and clean up after
church. Please sign up on sheet located by the mail boxes or call Pat
Thompson (276-9458) or email her at pthompson@tcseniorcenter.com.
Returnable Cans and Bottles: (with 10¢ deposit) may always be left at the church. Proceeds from this fund raiser will go to help families in our church who have emergency needs.
NLCC is now collecting only Oleson's receipts and Campbell's labels and lids (Franco-American, Prego, Swanson, V-8, Pepperidge Farms). Look for reminder symbols on products for what to save. Deposit boxes are available at the church. Oleson's receipts can be turned in at any time so we won't turn in receipts until we have at least the minimum amount.
NLCC also participates in a program at Gordon Food Services called "Partnership in Savings." If you present their card each time before you check out (Xeroxed cards are available on the table at NLCC). The UPC# on the card is 00200 9515). Our church will get a credit (a %) for your purchases. Carry it with you. Any dividend that we get from these ventures goes into the Operating Fund of our church. We are now enrolled in Meijer Community Rewards. You can join for free on-line or at www.Meijer.com/rewards or by picking up an application at the church and mailing it to Meijer. If you already have a Meijer credit card, just call 1-800-962-7011 to join. Then simply swipe your card at the register when shopping at Meijer anywhere. Use it for food, clothing, toys, home accessories, and more. NLCC will automatically receive a percentage of your Meijer credit card and cash/debit card purchase totals and will receive a check monthly. Our organization code is: 779560.
